What should I expect?
ANSWER: Although you may feel slightly damp over the next hour, feel free to go about your normal daily routine. Throughout the day, remember to stay dry and avoid touching your skin, as you want your tan to dry flawlessly. You will notice your tan darkening over the next 12-16 hours. After this time period, shower lightly allowing some of the “cosmetic bronzer tan” to wash off, baring your beautifully golden glow.
What should I wear when I am tanning?
ANSWER: Whatever you feel most comfortable in. The majority of women wear underwear, thongs, or disposable underwear, which is available for purchase. Men wear shorts. One should adhere to FDA recommendations.
How long does an airbrush tan last?
ANSWER: With proper care, generally about one week, with fading after about five or six days.
How long until the solution dries?
ANSWER: Eight to 12 minutes, faster with the assistance of a hair dryer or fan.
Will I be sticky after the application?
ANSWER: It is normal to feel sticky after your custom airbrush tan. Tan Artistry uses the fastest-drying formula available.
How long should I wait before taking a shower?
ANSWER: DHA Solutions take about 16 hours to fully develop. You will get the best results if you can avoid bathing until a day after your spray tan. Wait a minimum of 8 hours. A simple rinse with water is best. Bar soap destroys DHA. It is best to use a mildly scented soap like Dove.
Can I go in the water with my spray tan?
ANSWER: Certainly keep time to a minimum and know that prolonged exposure to the ocean, hot tubs, and pools may fade your tan.
